Every Wavefella board is a canvas. Our Design Studio creates premium artwork for inflatable SUP boards using advanced techniques — multi-color EVA block piecing, laser engraving, UV digital printing, and mechanical embossing. Each technique is chosen for durability in marine environments.
Artwork Techniques
Different colored EVA foam sheets are precisely die-cut and puzzle-assembled into the traction pad. Colors are structural to the material — they cannot fade, peel, or scratch.

A composite EVA pad (teal base with mint green surface) is laser-etched to remove the top layer and reveal the bottom color, creating permanent 3D textured patterns.

High-precision UV-cured ink is applied to the PVC surface for photorealistic detail on the nose and tail areas. UV-flexible inks rated for 150% elongation prevent cracking during inflation.

Wave patterns are mechanically pressed into dual-layer composite EVA using heat and pressure, creating uniform depth, excellent water drainage, and long-lasting non-slip performance.

CNC puzzle-cut EVA pieces create geometric artwork where colors transition through physical material boundaries rather than printed ink.
